Responsibilities: 

• Monitor EDTO and TRANSPAC operations to ensure flights operate within legal requirements.
• Provide general flight watch coverage to minimise fight disruptions caused by ATC restrictions, weather, and NOTAM related advisories by evaluating, recommending, and implementing alternative flight planning and dispatch solutions
• Liaison closely with external ATC and Meteorological centres around the network for flight plan filling and weather updates
• Study and take follow up actions on all class one NOTAM , weather informations affecting Company operations.
• Investigate and take follow up actions on crew reports relating to discrepancy of aeronautical information
• Research the aeronautical information for the feasibility study of Company’s new on-line ports, new services or chartered services
• Perform Flight Dispatcher duties as required and to participate in projects as directed by Manager Line Operation

Requirements:

• Diploma in Aviation or above
  
• Minimum 7 years work experience of which 5 years’ in the field of Flight Dispatch
• Previous experience in operational control/flight dispatch, or have acted as a flight crew or navigator
• Previous experience in route planning, route studies
• Ability to work in a changing environment, be adaptive and open to new challenges
• Strong problem solving skills with a high change orientation
• Previous experience with ICAO and/or HKCAD regulations and documents
