Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and implement HKA crisis management programme, including but not limited to Crisis Management Manual and Station Emergency Procedure Manuals to assure compliance with the updated regulations and market practices alignment;
  • Responsible for the IOSA accreditations in respect of Crisis Management / Emergency Response;
    Develop and conduct training to senior management as well as general staff in relation to crisis management;
  • Lead and coordinate exercises and drills to test the emergency preparedness;
  • Carry out audits for the crisis management program;
    Lead and participate in HKA Safety Action Group to offer immediate assistance to the affected parties in the event of safety crisis;
  • Liaise with HKCAD and HKAA on matters relating to crisis management and emergency response;
  • Represent the Director of Corporate Safety Department to attend industry forums relating to crisis management and emergency response;
  • Undertake other projects at the direction of management.

Requirements:

  • University degree or professional diploma in Aviation Management, Business Management or related discipline
  • 10 years of working experience in aviation operations, safety management system and/or crisis management, of which a minimum of 5 years of experience was in managerial capacity
  • Track record in delivering projects and successful implementation of safety/crisis management programme
  • Received training in one or more of the following with be advantage: Emergency Preparedness, Disaster Management, Business Continuity, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Transportation Disaster “Family Assistance”, Emergency Exercise Management, Critical Incident Management, or other ERP-related coursework
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and coordination skills with sound business mindset
  • Able to maintain composure in times of chaos, manage conflicts among parties, work under pressure and priortise tasks based on importance and urgencies
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin will be a plus
