Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, collecting, verifying, and correcting various maintenance records and status reports for leased aircraft as required by the lessor
  • Assist in managing sub-leased aircraft, including the collection of maintenance records and verifying the maintenance records
  • Liaise with external and internal departments on engineering matters regarding aircraft introduction
  • Assist in activities related to Hong Kong Certificate of Airworthiness, including but not limited to LOI / Leasing Agreement Liaison, configuration selection, etc.
  • Assist in the process of aircraft sourcing and configuration evaluation for targeted and available aircraft in the market
  • Provide support to all HKAR-183-related activities, including:
  • CoR / CoA / Noise Cert. Application
  • Attending meetings with the CAD
  • Reviewing MEL / AMS / BPL
  • Compiling Aircraft Reports
  • Conducting aircraft inspections and on-site monitoring for maintenance (used aircraft)
  • Reviewing aircraft documents and records
  • Preparing Variation / Exemption applications for C of A requirements
  • Perform pre-delivery aircraft inspections, including cabin, paint, and final inspection, as well as delivery activities
  • Identify configuration differences with the last imported aircraft
  • Provide TS technical data required for AMS preparation
  • Perform other duties or projects assigned by management

 

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience (or an equivalent amount of aircraft projects) in aviation engineering, projects/TS 
  • Degree in Engineering, or a relevant discipline
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) requirements 
  • Sufficient training, skill, and experience for the type of activities sought
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Able to take responsibility, make decisions, be well organized, and prioritize effectively
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to work on different projects
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Effective team player       
  • Able to work in Hong Kong or Mainland China
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Engineer, Aircraft Introduction Management
