Job Description
- Assist the Product Management Centre in formulating an overall marketing strategy for the company’s featuring products (e.g. new route launch, Business Class, frequent flyer program, destinations, etc.);
- Analyze individual products features, market needs, sales data, consumer behaviour, and the competitive environment to develop respective marketing strategies and activities;
- Lead the team in executing marketing activities such as communications, concepts development, copy-writing, production support, media placements and digital marketing intelligence for featured product promotions;
- Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure the targeted ROI is achieved;
- Provide coaching and strategic planning support to the teams;
- Implement the planning, execution, and evaluation of existing partnerships and joint promotions;
- Explore new opportunities with potential partners such as tourism boards and airports; and
- Monitor the latest industry trends and updates to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or other related disciplines;
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in airline commercial or business development gained in sizeable organization;
- Relevant experience in travel / hospitality industry, bank partnership or loyalty program is preferred;
- Familiar with performance driven digital marketing landscape in Hong Kong and/or Mainland China, APEC and North America is a strong advantage;
- Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task, and with a team-player attitude;
- Strong understanding and interest in current Marketing & Branding best practices in the industry, and able to bring insights to the team’s Marketing strategies;
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, reliable and independent, bringing a positive attitude and energy to the team;
- Strong negotiation skills and analytical skills;
- Ability to work under pressure with strong multi-tasking and organization skills;
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Proficiency in MS Office.
