Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive commercial strategy to ensure the strategic growth initiatives and achieve targets related to product, pricing, routes, sales and marketing strategies as well as E-commerce.
- Identify opportunities for revenue generation, market expansion, and competitive differentiation to establish adequate strategic and resources planning, in order to secure and upkeep the company's leading position in the industry.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to make strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to integrate the commercial strategies with the Company’s overall business goals.
- Develop short-term and long-term commercial plans, set ambitious achievable targets for revenue, market share, and other key performance indicators.
- Identify new revenue generating opportunities through innovative product development and strategic partnerships for the global market.
- Monitor the competitors and market dynamics to quickly adapt pricing and sales strategies as needed.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team in the department.
- Promote a collaborative, cross-functional working environment to facilitate high efficiency execution of commercial strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Business Management related discipline.
- Extensive work experience in airlines and a minimum of 20 years in commercial management, in which 10 years in senior management level.
- In depth knowledge and experience in international passenger revenue management, route planning, class management, price & cost management, freight rates, etc
- Excellent management and communication skills with different cultural employees, external customers, travel agents, government authority, tourism boards, mass media, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, sensitive to figures and a fast decision maker.
- Strong business acumen, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Able to work under pressure.
