Be the product owner for the end-to-end digital experience, development and implementation at www.hongkongairlines.com, including flight booking, manage booking, travel retail and content management platform in order to improve online and mobile product and services, air and non-air ancillary sales, as well as digital presence.
You will be developing user experience and consumer journey on omni-channels to optimize sales performance and customer experience. Exposure of some business analysis and project management would also be involved in this role.
What you’ll do :
Work closely with other business stakeholders such as marketing, compliance, legal, product development, reservations, airports, outstations, etc,and internal IT, external vendors for deriving business logic, requirements that deliver the exceptional customer experiences on the digital channels
Translate business and customer need into detailed product requirements documents with the consideration of business rules and acceptance criteria, etc before system development starts
Manage and prioritise business requirements, and also cost control in view of the budget plan
Closely communicate business requirements with developers and vendors to ensure the outcome aligning with our expectation
Understand legal requirements of online and mobile functions into compliant and customer friendly experiences
Assist to compile and analyze current website and app performance, customer feedback, complaints and market trends to help improve both front end and back end tool experience in close collaboration with Commercial and IT
Review testing plan, support user acceptance test or go-live testing with external vendors
Provide support on post go-live communication and write product brief
Report to Assistant Manager to be accountable for the role of Product Owner with leading one or two officers in the team if necessary
What do we expect from you :
Bachelor Degree in e-Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, Digital, Information System or relevant disciplines
A minimum of 3 to 4 years or above experience in an e-commerce or digital environment preferentially in aviation industry
Self motivated with can-do attitude to articulate strategy, make recommendations, implement new approaches to fix complex problems to achieve more customer satisfaction
Comfortable working and communicating with stakeholders at all levels and getting the best out of our development team
Strong passion of owning the end-to-end product lifecycle and enthusiasm to deliver the best customer travel experience in an airline
Experience with Content Management System, airline reservation, check in and UAT would be preferred
Experience with working and communicating with developers in China is an advantage
Willing to travel to China occasionally for meeting with internal IT and partners
Business fluency in oral and written English and Mandarin, with excellent communication, influencing skills
Proficiency in PC skills including MS Words, Excel
Candidate with less experience will be considered as E-Commerce Officer
