Responsibilities:

  • Manage correspondence related to General Manager Training (GMT)
  • Attend Safety meetings and serve as secretary for Training & Standardization meetings on behalf of the GMT
  • Assist GMT in preparing monthly reports for Senior Managers and HKCAD
  • Ensure Flight Operations Department (FOP) policies and training materials comply with AN(HK)O and international regulations
  • Monitor cockpit and cabin crew raining validity and ensure crew members are assigned training duties before qualification expires
  • Responsible for formulating, revising or make any changes of the department policy and training materials
  • Responsible for overseeing the following Training Facility duties:
    • Selection of appropriate  training facilities based on training plan
    • Coordinating and booking training facilities
    • Validating the training facilities and obtaining approval from the HKCAD
    • Monitoring the validity of training office supplier contracts
    • Monitor the pre-contract audits of training facilities suppliers
    • Participate in yearly audit regarding the training facilities
  • Coordinate with HKCAD regarding Instructor (TRI/TRE) applications and monitor instructors' and examiners' development
  • Review and summarize  feedbacks from instructors/Trainees to GMT for further assessment
  • Assisting GMT to manage training and development task, formulate department policy on training matters to ensure it is comply with regulations

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in aviation. Preferably with experience related to crew qualification and training in a supervisory position.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory, IOSA and company requirement on flight crew training
  • Strong analytical sense with a balance of forward strategical thinking and reasonable adaptability to change
  • Motivational leadership with an objective orientated mind
  • In-depth knowledge to related regulatory and company requirement as well as the industrial trend.
  • Experienced in organizing and planning of training
  • Technical knowledge in aviation is a strong advantage (Recreational flying, Aircraft Maintenance, Operational Control, etc.)
  • Good command of spoken and written English
