Assistant Manager / Supervisor, Crew Control

Responsibilities:

  • To assist Manager crew control to supervise and oversee crewing operation, ensure all crew roster are legal and comply with CAD371 requirement
  • Maintain supervision, balance and fair roster to all crews with no partiality and favoritism during roster re-assignment
  • Provide FTL training to new joiners and recurrent training to existing staffs
  • Assist Manager Crew Control to establish periodic base workshop and programs for crew control staff’s knowledge and handling skill improvement
  • To assist Manager Crew Control to establish specific project for crew control team
  • Maintain the statistics for crew sickness, standby number and usage data 
  • Implement Crew Control notices as a means for communicating new policy and procedures among Crew Control staff and documented notices.
  • Ensure all irregularities faced are timely reported;
  • Ensure all shift reports are completed giving precise and chronological details where required;
  • Ensure proper handover briefing of all important or incomplete task are completed;
  • Cover Crew Control shift duty when required
  • Ad-hoc duty as assigned such as Typhoon and weather disruption

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail, thoroughness in dealing with complexity;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Supervisor, Crew Control.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in aviation industry in which 4 years or above in supervisory level;
  • Teamwork and Collaboration;
  • Accountability and Ownership;
  • Decision maker and able to work under pressure;
  • Effective Communication, calm and collected mannerism;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail, thoroughness in dealing with complexity;
  • Good interpersonal communication, time management and problem-solving skills;
