Responsibilities:

  • Advise Director, Ground Operations with regards to crew rostering matters.
  • Formulate divisional policies for the purposes of recruitment, training, organizational development, manpower planning and administration.
  • Ensure all department personnel matters are administered as per company policy to include the wellbeing and morale of his/her staff, oversight, counsel, discipline of immediate subordinates, and determination of final decision within the department on disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure all crew rostering and crew control staff are qualified for CAD371 requirement and training.
  • Direct and lead the Rostering manager and Crew Control Manager.
  • Ensure all HKA aircraft are crewed legally and safely in accordance to applicable legislation, regulation and company guidelines by establishing a good practice among the Crew Rostering & Crew Control Section.
  • Work closely with General Manager, Flying and General Manager, Training for cockpit crew rostering and training policies related to crew roster scheduling.
  • Work closely with Cabin Crew Operations Team in SDD for cabin crew rostering and training policies related to crew roster scheduling.
  • Oversee the implementation of crewing systems and automation projects within the crew rostering and crew control function.
  • Establish an efficient working relationship between crew operations and its internal customers.
  • Undertake projects as directed by Director, Ground Operations or his/her designated.
  • Assist with crisis coordination and participate in the crisis recovery process.

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • 15 years of work experience in aviation industry, mainly in Crew Control, Rostering and Crew Planning areas with minimum 8 years in supervisory or Assistant Manager level.
  • Well versed in HKCAD360, 371, IOSA requirement, Crew Control and flight disruption handling.
  • Proficiency in verbal communication in Cantonese, English and Putonghua.
  • Capable to handle conflict and settle argument in a reasonable manner.
